Abnormal Eating

My 7 year old Sulcata has recently been trying to eat anything white, she tries to eat the white floorboards, the swiffer, etc. This is a new thing and it seems like I can't take my eyes off of her because I worry she may ingest something harmful. does that mean she is deficient in a particular vitamin or something? I make sure she has enough food but it also seems like lately she has had a huge increase in appetite. Could they be related? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Maybe she's looking for calcium. I'd offer her some cuttlefish bone.

When my sulcata was a baby, he'd try to eat the white of the birdpoop any time he saw it. I would put calcium on his food and that worked. I now make sure to leave cuttlefish, or cuttlebone out for him and I dint have a problem anymore.

My Redfoot gang also do this.
If they feel they need more calcium, they will eat rocks....
