Our wee little Sulcata has been with us 8 days now. We are beyond smitten.

He loves his outdoor oasis (kiddie pool I posted a few days ago) and he loves his indoor habitat as well. We are already planning on his next set up for when he gets a little bigger.

He loves to walk around the perimeter then dive in to the soft grasses and run around. I have two of these large container of grasses that I will rotate. He loves it!

Oh whatever guys! Just because you are boys doesn't mean you can't squeal at the cuteness of it all! Sandy - thanks for having my back...lol

The seed mix is from sulcataseed.com I ordered two pounds and was VERY generous spreading it in the containers and pool. I only went through a bit of it and have the bag in the freezer for the next go round. He loves it! If the weather is bad he is inside during the day. It is rainy here today and he is crashed smack dab in the middle of his grasses. Legs straight, head out and to the side. He freaks me out when he does this... I keep checking to make sure he is breathing. Yep. Totally breathing. Just crashed. Hard.

side note: Does anyone know if that grass seed is also good for box turtles? It's so pretty... I want to try it but I have picky boxies.
