Here are a couple of pix. They hatched over a three week period, as you can tell by the difference in their sizes. I had kept the larger two in coco fiber, until I realized that it gave them an orange color.

how old and how large was the first time mom when she laid?

Not sure of her age, but she is about 13", and her sister who laid first time eggs,is about 14", both pyramid shaped. They were raised together, with no male.
