A truly unique example of North African Testudo graeca, the Moroccan tortoise (Testudo graeca marokkensis) is a beautiful, rare find.
I imported the parents of these available babies and they hail from an expansive area between Agadir and Marrakech, Morocco. For more information on our animals, go here: Moroccan Tortoise Page
They are an arid dwelling species with adults reaching between 5 and 7". Their tan to cream colored carapaces are littered with varying degrees of black striations or blotches.
These babies are now 4 and 5 months old, are flawless and grown perfectly smooth. They are feeding on weeds (clover, dandelion, catsear, vetch, plantains and thistle), hibiscus leaves and flowers, spring mix, squash and mazuri.
$400 each plus shipping.
*Photos below show some adults and the 2 available babies.
