hey guys!
i just got my first sulcata. Hes 8 months old and he fits in the palm of my hand. right now i have him in a 20 gal long tank and hes doing very very good BUT i want to make a tortoise table but i have no clue how big i should make it! can someone please help me! thanx!

usually bigger the better with sulcatas. they grow extremely fast and eat tons. a tortoise table will probably be good for the first couple years of its life, but then it should be outside as much as possible with weather permitting. sulcatas needs tons of room and places to dig

Hey there! Must be exciting to be a first time tortoise owner! At least thats how my experience was. =) I have three little ones. here's an example of how i made mine. Its nothing fancy, but just something that i keep them in whenever they're not running around on the lawn. It's about 3'x3' which should be sufficient for a few years. Just make sure you make it nice and sturdy because its amazing how powerful these little beasts are.
