Here are a couple pics of my biggest from 2011. I don't know if the second one is a "hypo", or just a brown phase. They're both just under 4"scl.

Pretty bodies. I can't wait to see what my boxie will look like when she gets to be 4".

They're both about 250g. Actually bigger than most sulcatas of the same age.

US box turtles are very rare here... I'd like to get some day.

I don't know boxies or your methods. Can you share a little bit for us readers why you are having such exceptional growth?

Well, they're not all this big. Mine get a lot of animal protein. More than half of their diet is meat in some form or another. I will raise a dozen or so together, and several will start growing at a faster rate. No bullying, but they just spend more time eating than the others. If some are hiding when fed, they might miss out. The bigger ones are usually the bolder ones (most active) These two are outside with the adults now.
