    Wood protectant

Hello - I've been off and on planning a final enclosure for my Russian, Herb. Is ArtResin safe to use in tortoise enclosure?

I made a little house and stairs for my tortoise but the wood that I "waterproofed" is no longer holding up. I want to coat the wood with ArtResin but not sure how safe it is. It does claim to be a nontoxic resin. Has anyone used this resin in their enclosure? Any advice would be appreciated.

It's 6'x3', which I know is still below the minimum recommended dimensions, but that is the size I can accommodate in my home right now and it's a hell of a lot bigger than what she's been living...

    Quick Waterproofing?

I need to waterproof (or water resist) my wood enclosure quick. I am intending to put some sphagnum peat moss in there which gets a little moist. However, I don't really have another place for my tortoise if it has to dry for a really long time. Any ideas?
