Hello, I've noticed there are some white marks on my Russsian tortoise's orchid bark and I'm not sure if I should be concerned? It can look a bit fuzzy, and it seems to be mostly around/under his water dish, although there was also already some in a brand-new bag of bark. The bark isn't wet but...

I’ve been trying to find a local source for orchid bark in west Michigan and have had zero luck. Anybody know of anything in Michigan that sells it in bulk? Would like to buy the 2 cubic foot bags if possible before buying smaller 24 qt bags online for 15 each

Hi all! I have been doing some looking for orchid bark and I can’t find any that have a ton for the money. I noticed that the Zoo Med Reptile Bark is 100% fir and was curious if it would be beneficial to use? If not, what are the brands of orchid bark that y’all use? Thank you in advance!!

Ok so I found this stuff at menards it looks exactly like coconut coir to me. My plan was to put about 4 inches of this down and then cypress multch on top for a dry layer has anyone else used this stuff before does it work is it safe? Or am I better off just buy eco earth or something like that...

I want to thank you all for the advice, and threads! While the enclosure is no where near finished, Bruce is much more pleased with his surroundings. Little one even started digging! Considering adding coco to help with moisture retention. Any thoughts? I've read both yes and no on here.
