    Do they hibernate?

I can't stop thinking if it was something I did that caused my littlefoot to pass, or if he was just doomed from the beginning. But one thing I am wondering, would it have been a good idea if I had soil as the substrate, that I watered daily? Perhaps with grass growth? That would have kept the...

    Do they hibernate?

Thanks everyone, it really sucks when you fight so hard for them to make it! Poor little guy, the only comfort I have is knowing that he's not in any more pain. Even the vet was surprised that he passed.

Vet checked him, heartbeat was gone. Didn't think I would be this upset over it. Thanks everybody. He's in a better place now.

    Do they hibernate?

I wasn't sure what to do, brought him to the vet. One of his eyes were slightly open. Gave him a bit of wheat grass on Friday night. He's got the MVB and heating element. I'm at the vet now so can't take a pic.

    Do they hibernate?

Hi guys, This morning I woke up to find Littlefoot in the corner of his tub behind the thermostat - lifeless :(. No movement, my poor baby. I'm only hoping there is a slight chance that he might be hibernating or a chance to revive, but from what I'm reading there isn't. Any ideas? If not...

    Bearded dragon enclosure?

Sorry to bring up again... But if the doors aren't open for 8-10 hours would the oxygen still suffice?

    Bearded dragon enclosure?

There's an idea, I didn't know paint would prevent that! I didn't think it would mold as the humidity wouldn't be incredibly high and it would be cleaned often. My biggest concern is he wouldn't have enough oxygen and whether or not the lighting would work. I've attached pictures of the exact...

    Bearded dragon enclosure?

Well, I live in a very low humidity place, so I basically leave water in his enclosure for him and spray him in the morning and few times at night. I am not home for 8-10 hours out of the day, and some days leave at 7:30am and am not back until 8-10pm. So I usually give food in the mornings...

    Bearded dragon enclosure?

So I was in petland the other day, and saw this: http://uk.hagen.com/Reptile/Housing/Starter-Kits/PT4033 The one in petland also came with the stand. I REALLY liked this as I have two cats and this is sure to keep my little guy safe from them! There is just a small spot on the one side to place...

    Baby leopard - help!

Hey guys, I was wondering, I have my guy in a sterile container. Would he be safe/have enough oxygen if I left the lid on during the day? I work all day but have cats that might try and get him! the container is about 6 inches tall. So, would it be ok if I put the lid on it (I would drill small...

    Baby leopard - help!

Can you ever have too high of UV levels? Also, if I had the dimmer all the way to the end is it equivalent to an on/off fixture? What are the dimmers made for, what type of bulbs?

    Baby leopard - help!

Hey guys, just wanted to give you all a quick update. Littlefoot is eating dandelion leafs and some wheat grass on his own, and has been pooping everyday for the last several days. He's been much more active and bubbles in nose have reduced. The vet weighed him today and was unfortunately 5g...

    Baby leopard - help!

You know, he was up and walking around for about 10 minutes tonight after syringe feeding-but I think I will have a better idea tomorrow... His little legs are probably really sore from all the needles. I didn't try feeding him anything other than the formula they gave me. I have to pick up some...

    Baby leopard - help!

So I took my little guy to another vet today who seemed a lot more reputable than the last guy. She's been treating reptiles for over 20 yrs and actually gave me advise on the little guy. After doing a full "physical", she diagnosed him with pneumonia, dehydration and said he may not make it...

    Baby leopard - help!

Lol, I meant solar. I got a 125 watt solar heat murcery vapor bulb. Does this include UVB lighting? So I should have this on during the day and then just put a CHE on at night?
