So I went to the HomeDepot and bought some petunias, marigolds and some coleus. Planted them inside my cherry's enclosure and he comes trampling out to tear **** up. He has almost eaten a whole little plant. Looks like I'm going to have to find a plant that he doesn't want to eat.
There has been a difference in opinion all over the net about how to "cleanse" or prepare a store bought plant for reptile habitat use. I was curious on some of the more "updated" approaches to this subject. Do all companies use pesticide? ColorSpot, Bonnie ect ...... do you replant in natural...
Hey guys and gals. I have been having the hardest time deciding on good plants to plant inside my cherry's enclosure. I need some that do not require full sun and that if he/she decided to eat would be fine. I would prefer he/she didn't eat them though. I just got a second job over at the home...
I'm sure I'm not the first. I am having a problem with mold building up. I have a few half logs in the enclosure and they are starting to mold I was just curious if there is a remedy to kill and prevent the mold that is safe for my cherry.
The humid hide stays around 85+ with an under tank heater underneath it. And you can see my Hibiscus sprout in the mini greenhouse. I got the seeds from Terryo thanks again.
So 2pm hit and I still did not recieve my new friend. After making a fuss for 30min UPS set up a meeting spot to pick up my lil guy from the driver. They explained that they did not know it was supposed to be delivered by 10:30 no later than 12. I got him and gave him a warm bath as soon as I...
I was watching Pet Star on animal planet. This guy had a Redfoot with a harness attached to a miniature chariot pulling a Bearded Dragon it was the cutest thing I have seen on TV involving torts. Needless to say he got a 28/30 on the score card. Just thought I would share that.
Im am looking to sell my MVB from ReptileUV. It has not been used and my reason to return in insufficient apparently. It has been only plugged in to make sure it works before I posted here. I will not need it as I am going to follow Terry's caresheet for my new tort. I am asking $50 shipped to...
I finally found a purchased my new baby Cherryhead. Hes coming from Mark and Kim Bell of Reptile Industries. She is an awesome person to do business with and I would recommend them to anyone for many torts and supplies. Reptmart.com. Here is the picture of the one I chose. I will post more...
I was wondering what wattage heat emitter I would want to buy a 60w or 100w it will be positioned approx 12 inches above the substrate. This will be for a cherry headed redfoot.
Figured I would Share what I have been working on for the past few weeks got most of the structure done. Stained and Sparurethaned the wood. Its cured now so I can start installing some of the goodies. Im covering it with Acrylic to help with humidity. That is what the slanted frame is attached...
I am talking to a breeder in FL. He says $160 shipped for a cherry head. He sent me some pictures but I cannot tell. He also sent me some pics of older ones but they look more like regular redfoots to me. Help please Thank you
Hello all, a friend is needing to get rid of her BD because she is going across seas for school so I have been chosen to care for her as I love reptiles. I have absolutely no idea how to care for a bearded dragon and want to provide optimal health and a comfortable enviroment. I do know that she...
Anyone have any experience with this company before good/bad? I noticed they are selling cherry heads for $150 on their site and down to $125 after emailing them. Avg of $80 lower than other internet sites. This is what is raising a little cautiousness and suspicion. Would they try to pass off a...
This has probably been asked a million times but I cannot find the answer I'm looking for. I keep finding different answers. I want to grow Hibiscus but am unsure what kind or if it doesn't matter anyways. Ive read tropical, blue (only flowers) but there are so many kinds. These are some of...
I was curious if there were any real differences between cherryheads and normal redfoots. Aside from an avg of 2 inches. There is a 100% price difference but that is all I know so far. =D
I was interested in getting a Baby cherryhead but the prices online are insane. There is a reptile show in Las Vegas in October. Any bad things about purchasing from the expos?
