Its a greek tortoise hatchling about 5 months old

Should my tort eat all of his food or should I feed him more so he doesn't he all of it?

I have a bag of pebbles from a while ago I was wondering if I could use them as substrate for a greek tortoise?

When ever I shut off my uvb bulb at night I think my tortoise is asleep but when I shut it off he tucks into his shell really fast as if he's scared thanks for all the input!

Good thing you rescued him from his old place. Just feeding him apples that's just terrible!

Yeah I have paper around the walls so that's taken care of but I will be sure to spray it down a lot.

Thanks for the input it really helped!! I was wondering what an impaction was I have heard a lot of people say that but I don't know what it is?

Well the kind I have now is a name brand like exo terra or zoo med I don't remember, but could I use a cheaper alternative for example just a kind form my local hardware store?
