    My "other" pets

RE: My "other" pets I have to say, living in SW Florida, I am not familiar with any orchid that grows annually in temps of 50 to 60 degrees. I laugh at the growers that swear Cymbidiums can't grow well or bloom here because of the heat. I have 3 which came from a grower in Northern...

    Dog just had a fit

As a retired veterinary technician I can tell you that bloodwork as soon after a seizure as possible can give a better map for your veterinarian to see and can in many instances where chemical imbalances may or may not be. Consider keeping a log, time each seizure and try to get a large dog...

    Muffin

Thank you. She is physically sound but her mind has gone. She wanders aimlessly at night and yowls loudly. It's heartbreaking to see her like that but I just try to comfort her and keep happy.

    Trio of Trouble

Oh yea...innocence! HA. They torment the cats, treat my staircase like a NASCAR track and even though they're let outdoors 20 times a day, there always seems to be a mystery pile left under the pool table! But we love them!

    Backyard rescues

Of course the natives were helped across the street. In FL there is always a pond or ditch or something that they're headed to...the proverbial "grass is always greener on the other side" syndrome. We rehomed the male red foot with someone who had a gorgeous female with a privacy fenced...
