Hey guys it's been a while but just a little update. Shelby is doing great again now. Vet kept him and tube fed him for two weeks but he is home two weeks now and is eating again. His face has healed a lot and is back munching away so fingers crossed he will keep it up

Hey guys, little update. Shelby seems to be making some progress. Both eyes are open more and he seems to have a bit more life to him. Still sleeping a lot but definitely a small improvement. He is also attempting to eat a little bit!
He is in a smaller area, heat lamp is on constantly but still he is very lifeless and just slept on his food. Eyes are only open whilst in his bath and for few mins after then he just sleeps or finds a corner he can sleep in
He had anti biotic eye drops and is getting them twice daily until they are gone. Are you saying to keep his heat lamp on all day, current it goes off at night to allow a cooler temp
Don't think it's looking too good for poor Shelby. Did another carrot puree bath today and he just wanted to sleep in it. He is fairly lifeless and all he wants to do is sleep. Only opens his eyes for very short period of time
Guys sorry to bother ye again but just wondering if it's normal for him to be sleepy and burrowed into a corner all the time. I k ow he traumatized just wanna make sure it's not gonna do more harm. than good. That's all he does when out him back after his baths, is burrow down
So gave little Shelby a carrot puree bath. Not sure how it went he opened and closed his mouth a good bit and definitely took some of it on board. Both eyes are open today, still swollen but progress I hope!!
I know I didn't think beardie had sharp teeth but lesson learned. He still has anti biotic drops have to put in his eyes twice a day so that keeping it from drying out. Thanks so much for all advice
The beardie and him are kept seperate. My partner was introducing them turned his back for a second and it happened. He feels awful so really hope he will be okay
