Yes, it was dry at the time of pic! Good eyes!! It dries out quick with no top.

The outside enclosures are still a work in progress, they can dig up to 4 feet underground they have plenty of deep hides, I dont worry about raccoons or anything, I have dogs that love to try to eat anything that climbs trees... and they have free rein of the yard with access thru a doggie...

He has alligator head hide that on cold nights I stuff with hot water soaked sphagnum moss he likes to snuggle in. Most of the he is buried in the dirt. I feed...

I've adopted this 9mo old sulcata in Oct. It was always on dry substrate, fed only Kale and no UVB. It already had some pyramiding beginning. I've upped the humidity, given uvb light as well as trips outside when weather is sunny. He is a voracious eater of all things. I was just wondering if...
