One of my sullies is bound and intent on flipping over. Every day I have to right her. She is little now, so I really hope it is not a behavior that follows her as she gets bigger. I would be afraid to put an eraser on her because she is with the other sullies. They might try to take a bite.
Actually I think our biggest one never did any hibernating. She just hangs out on the dock all day. The others are plunking out though and hungry. Been offering redworms, freeze dried bugs and fresh veggies. Anything else I should be offering?
I think my little friend is sick. She has a runny nose and one eye is not opening. :( Regular vets wont see her since she is wild and the wildlife center is still not open after it flooded last week. What if anything can or should I do for her?
I found a dead female box turtle on the road and she had 4 egss. I had read about harvesting eggs to try and hatch them so I have the eggs and have them set up in a container with peralite and moss. Someone is picking them up tomorrow as she has a proper incubator.
I think the increase in humidity is absolutely what they needed. Lucas' shell is looking smoother. He used to spend most of his time in the huddlehouse which was not wet inside now I have cocunut and spagnum moss in there and keep it damp.
