    Night Temps For Eastern Hermanns?

Thanks everyone. It's been getting into the mid 50's at night, but warns up to the high 70's - mid 80's during the day. I'm glad to know I'm not freezing Leroy.

What are suitable low temps at night? How low can they handle?

    Rose Of Sharon?

I'll be giving him more flowers now that I know he enjoys them. He even liked them more than hibiscus.

Prospective tort owner, need help choosing!

Welcome! To touch on what jacqui said, one of our members Edna has a wonderful male Eastern Hermanns for sale. I got my first tort from her a few weeks ago and he's great! Here's a link to her thread. http://www.tortoiseforum.org/Thread-Eastern-Hermanns-males-for-sale#axzz23eXOjyim

    Rose Of Sharon?

Thanks! I put a flower and a few leaves in for Leroy. He came running over and ate the flower rather quickly. He didn't care for the leaves, but he may eat them later.

    Rose Of Sharon?

I know it's listed as edible, but is it the whole plant, flower only or leaves only?

Here's two pics of Leroy enjoying some greens. He's looking pretty good I think. Some seed mix starting to grow. Hope he likes it.

How Long Should I Let My Tort Soak?

I give my tort a warm soak every other day. I normally soak for 20-30 minutes. I really have no clue if that is ok, too long or not long enough? Please advise on how long you let your tort soak.
