This is Spot, had her a couple weeks now but just barely named her. Wanted a good classic dog name and think it goes well with the dots on her scutes (even though I'm pretty sure they will fade as she grows, correct me if I'm wrong). Also do glad I found this form, tons of good info, awesome...
Thank you everyone, she/he is doing awesome, eating like a little fatty and loving her enclosure, did a small lil upgrade and added plants (we'll see how long they last, lol) and planted different grasses that have just started sprouting
I think I'm going to use a plexi glass sheet and cover up that one side without the lamp, thank you all for your ideas and suggestions

As anyone tried growing any ground cover plants, I.e. ice plant, clover or even wheat grass directly in their tortoise habitat. I use coconut coir right now and was thinking of mixing it with a potting soil that did not contain fertilizer and try this, but don't know if my sulcata would leave...
Ordered two temperature incubated female sulcatas, both excellent looking tortoises, excellent prices, super fast shipping well packaged and awesome customer service, James is a pleasure to work with and has answered 3 emails within the last 2 days of getting my tortoises, highly highly...
Got my new baby 2 days ago, she was incubated at temperatures to most likely make her a female, she still doesn't have a name. Resides in the larger Rubbermaid container I could find with a MVB and an under tank heater, coconut coir bedding, a rock under the heat lamp, with moss around the rock...
