I recently saw a post online where a lady was oiling her tortoises shells and I didn't even know this was a thing. Can people please advise if this is appropriate and if so what oils should be used please?
Is there any other maintenance and care requirements other than feeding, baths...

I've got two 88 year old spur thighed tortoises which I've had for 6 years and inherited from my grandad.
I've successfully hibernated them every year until now despite the same routine. They've been in hibernation less than four weeks but the tortoise sand that I buy is especially damp...
