Hello. I got 2 "supposed" to be Russian tortoise in October at petco. They are doing well. But since I got hem. One triple in size and the other has not grown at all. When I got them they were both the same size. Any ideas????
Thanks everybody for the reply(s) helps a lot... My Russians eat like crazy all the greens, but no interest in the pallets what so ever....Does the calcium make more appealing? ( are the pallets an absolute Necessity?) if not I'll keep them there but focus on green..... Thx again ...I usualy...

Thank you.... No where it tells me how much to feed them.... i gave them 2 small bowls of spring mix this morning and they devour it... I can't tell if they are eating their tortoise food???????? should i just put one bowl a day out? or refill when empty....
That.s awesome info thx..... do you think it would be ok to let them be outside during the day (winter time in the outdoor enclosure and bring them in at night? this way they have plenty of space to run /dig around.... Also what would you suggest as a ground material for outside enclosure...
