As you might know I work at Petsmart and I had a customer call with questions regarding redfoot tortoises. She wanted to know if we have any right now and if we do, what gender is it. I told her we have one but it is quite young (around 4 inches in length) so I dont know the gender for sure...

They are not living together but I am letting them interact together and they seem to get along well so far. I realize they are recommended to be quarantined but since they are both captive breed I am comfortable with letting them interact now. I also know there is too much of a size difference...

I do not know how old she is but she is 6.5 inches in length. She has always had roughly the same envirnment, cypress mulch, organic top soil, mixed with shpagnum moss. humidity is around 80% and temp between 82-84 degrees. I have had Gretta for a year now and have never seen her do this before...
