    My 4 yr old redfoot has similar raised ridges. Not sure what caused it either. We had a bad past summer and I was on honeymoon for the better parts, so she has not had much in the way of UV recently - maybe I should get a bulb to make up for it. Feeding her less often now, too, and will see how...

    Its dangerous for rodents as well, but is still sold. Aspen is a hardwood and is safe.
