So this is day 2 and a complete difference. The only problem is out of all the food I offer between wheat grass, clover, collard greens, dandelion leaves and flowers, it only wants the flower.
A couple of weeks ago my baby leopard torts eyes began staying closed unless iwould soak it, then itwouldopen its eyes towards the end of the soak. I also noticex that it wasn't wanting to eat also. I drove 80 miles to an exotic vet just to find iut that it is too small to do blood work, x rays...
My leopard tort seems to always keep its eyes closed. Today I shut off the zoo med 5.0 uvb t5 ho, but kept the basking light on. With it being the 5.0 it says it should be within 12 inches. Depending on the altitude of the substrate its between 6 and 10 inches. Could that be hurting my baby's eyes?
I have been soaking every other day but will try every day. The enclosure goes from about 77 to 103 on the temp but the majority is between 85 and 90. and ive had her since Feb 8th.
