This 2 year old sulcata has been walking down the driveway and to this road since he was about 4 inches long. I.E. his whole life.He also does this at parks....
Yep. There's grazing and walking. Two distinctly different Stump activities. When he wants to go walking this is what goes down. People on this forum wouldn't believe me that he walks straight down the road without the video. On Christmas Day 2023 he went to visit the kids that were playing outside and then one day last fall he absolutely HAD to cross the road to get to the apples on the ground. Other than that it's straight down on a mission.

Yes. 50/50. Many times I pick him up and walk him back but sometimes he will graze for a few minutes and then walk back to the back yard, eat some more and then usually head to the mat by the back door to be let in. Then he gets a warm soak/bubble bath if he smells like a farm animal and then to his bed. One thing is for sure, this dude is 100% a trip.
They are a,wonderful pet. I got Opo after I was in a bad car accident. He has gotten me through some tough days with his antics.
Stump seems to be a real character.
