@Mantissa3 How funny that Gibby is named after your guitar! Lira is named Lira after the ancient instrument, because her parents belong to a renowned local musician so she was from a musical family and her adopted brothers are my two bass guitars Sr. Baixo and Beto. She has a real soft spot for Beto. If I play him she comes out of her bedroom to listen and whenever I let her out of her house she goes across the room and snuggles in under his case, strange but true. Haha
@Lira I love that! I think Gib loves music and specific sounds, but you know "they" say torties can't "hear" - only feel vibrations. I still think Gib loves certain sounds and music.
@Mantissa3 I agree, if I had listened to the 'they' Lira and I would not have had half the adventures we have! I don't know what she can hear, but I know that of two basses, she shows more interest in one as well as one particular song I sang to her as a baby (Love every little thing about you...haha), she comes way out of her shell and puts her head kind of to the side, looking at me when I sing that song to her...so it seems like she knows what she likes!!
