They were dug up from my yard! That is what I was trying to accomplish, but the first round of plants (these pictured) did not do very well once I re-planted them. The plants seemed to dry out very quickly and were pretty wilted by the day after planting. I watered them for a few more days but they are not taking to it well.
Im going to try again though. Instead of transplanting them directly into containers, I'm going to approach them a big more like seedlings. I'll keep them indoors for the first few days, and try to set up a kind of mini-diy green house for humidity to see if that keeps them from drying out.
There is a possibility I just damaged the plants too much while cleaning them off. I removed several dead or gross looking leaves which may have been too rough to begin with.
