Thank you! It’s nice to be back.😃Well hello!! Long time no not see in the CDR! Hope you and the turtles are are all well.
if they’re growing in full Sun, they’re probably vincas which are toxic to lots of animals- don’t know about torts.View attachment 356166Does anyone know what flower this is? Also can Opo eat it?We had a rose bush in that area that we neglected. So it finally gave up and then last year this plant popped up with 2 flowers and has went crazy.
Tough to id by the pic......but it does look to be a turtle to me.

Darn, i hate saying, no, so I’ll say, I’m pretty confident that they are neither pansies or morning glory. 🙁.
They have the look of Impatiens, but i don’t think that either. Florida has all kind of unique flowers that we don’t see up here.
I wouldnt feed either. Stick with your grasses, hibiscus & cactus.
Aaaaaagh, found it. Cape Periwinkle

Cape periwinkle is suitable for USDA zones 10-11. So depending on the climate, cape periwinkle grows as an annual, tender perennial, or evergreen ground cover in warm climates. You should grow the sprawling vining plant in full sun or partial shade where there is good drainage.
Apart from growing as flowering ground cover, cape periwinkle is suitable for planting in beds, borders, containers, and drought-tolerant gardens.
What a gorgeous bunny butt!!!! 😍😍😆🤣😂It's pretty bad. I'm supposed to be retired, not them. 😁View attachment 356185

I’ve grown both as ornamentals in my front yard.
Happy Birthday Sally!🥳🥳P.S. guys….
Sally turned 25!! On April 12!!!
25!!!!!!!!😳😳😳😳😳🤯🤯🤯🤯
I was thinking of you when I posted it 😜 from when you accused me of bunny porn.hahahaha25 years....commitment...very cool! Did she get ahold of fruit? Are you Suuuurrrreee you didn't slip her some mango as a birthday treat???? LOL (I paid for that mistake years ago)
Baby needs wet.....lots of wet with dry available for basking.....keep him warmy in the mid 80's till the real talent(I'm a hack) chimes in, or you can conveniently rush right over to the water turtle section and see....DD has fantastic little ones & his setups are simple and effective
I love staying up, so I envy you BD.....that's my prob....I enjoy being awake.
Yeah, usually up around 1am...on a good night we'll make it to 3. I go to bed at 6-7;30.
(grumbling...ms cathie posted a bunny, with poop....grrr, lol)
Yeah it's too funny how she just lays around 🤣 she doesn't even have to do anything to get me laughing. Hello I missed you 💕What a gorgeous bunny butt!!!! 😍😍😆🤣😂
I watched over a tiny little turtle once and I can tell you this don't underestimate their ability to escape. I had it in a hospital wash basin and had to put it in a much taller tub after the little rock did exactly that. It was a wonder I even found it in my room it was so tiny. I eventually put it back outside but learned a little first. It was found in flood water with no place to dry out. I'm not an expert but I do know that a turtle needs to be able to get some sun on a comfortable spot to dry out. It's funny that turtles need to have some dry time but tortoises need some soak time and you have to make them sometimes.Ok…ok… I’ve got new pictures now.
Here we go.
(I think it’s a slider turtle ?
But what should their house be made of?
A tank? A box?
Wet? Dry? Hiding places? Food??
About 2 weeks ago we had to cut back the cactus because they were getting to tall and needed a ladder to get the new growth. We cut back about 3' of the pads that were big and thick. I was hoping that would promote new growth but wasn't sure because we had never did such a radical cut back.
Well it definitely promoted new growth .

My question would be what plants did they use as a hybrid for the rose plant? I had something similar happen to me with a hybrid rose.View attachment 356166Does anyone know what flower this is?
