These are very seasonal. They hatch best if left in the ground, so most of the people breeding them do it this way. This means that a ton of them hatch around the end of September and into October after the ground has been warm enough to incubate over summer.I would like to buy a hatchling Giant South African Leopard Tortoise. (Texas) Anyone know Anyone with or expecting a clutch?

Tom, That sounds GREAT!!!These are very seasonal. They hatch best if left in the ground, so most of the people breeding them do it this way. This means that a ton of them hatch around the end of September and into October after the ground has been warm enough to incubate over summer.
I should have 100+ ready to sell in October or November.
@Tom @diamondbp etc...
@Tom may have more available than I later this year. My females are on their second year of production and I don't have the ability to ground hatch them being in South Louisiana. But I'm sure if you posted a wanted ad around sept-jan either Tom, myself, or someone we can recommend will gladly steer you in the right direction
My young adults and older adults do fantastic here. Southeast Texas is sure to be just as good.Are your tortoises able to live outside (is humidity a big concern?) I am from Scott and currently live in Texas but with very same weather (well a little drier)
