Meet Vader. He arrived today. He is two months old, and probably one of the most gorgeous red foot I have ever seen. He is so outgoing. He is all over his enclosure already. He has eaten a mulberry leaf a large grape leaf and a little red leaf lettuce with blended acorn squash. He seems to already know where his food dish is. The enclosure has an ambient air temp that ranges from 84 to 94 degrees. His hot spot is at 101 below his lamp. According to my temp gun his shell temp stays at 85 degrees. I turned the vivurium into closed chambers using a roll of thick clear plastic I have. For humidity I am using an oxygen stone with a air pump in a water jar. I am looking for different options for humidity. The substrate is cococore under cypress mulch, and moss in his humid hide. So what do you think, and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since this is the first hatchling I have housed in eight years. Thank you so much allegra. We love this little guy.
