I kept two yellow types together and they never fought.
I had a wooden enclosure with a glass front and a long loop of PVC pipes exiting out one side and looping back into the other side.
They loved it.
They thought they were tunneling.
I also kept the thing at nearly 100 degrees in the basking area.

image.jpeg I have a small red one. He's in a 100 gallon. They needs goth more then height. I don't think a 45 is big enough unless you can extend it with PVC like ZEROPILOT did with his. A 45 for sure not big enough for two. Mine, I can't remember the kind off hand, is one of the smaller kind. Color is funny in the pic as he is shedding. That's also why he is getting a warm water soak.
