Tort Sleeping In The Open?

So my Russian every night sleeps in the corner instead of sleeping under the log? Does he get cold in there or just doesn't like it? I'm not sure if it is normal for him to be in the corner instead.

Two of the RFs here don't like sleeping in a hide...but love to sleep in the corner behind the plant canopy I have set up in each....

My Russian sleeps sometimes in her hide and other times out in the open.

They pick the spot to sleep. You can move the hide, and they will pick another. They just know what they like!

Mine did that for a long time till I got him a huge hide... Now he stays in there most of this time!

Sometimes my guys feel like being covered, sometimes they don't. Maybe someday I'll figure out why.

Mine used to sleep in the corner, until we got him bigger enclosure.

Well I'm working on getting a bigger enclosure for my Russian so maybe it is just a size issue... Right now he's living in an old bookshelf.

I just put a huge pile of Timothy Hay in the corner and both Russians burrow deep into it to sleep, they used to sleep in the open too.

My new leopard does that! I think he's used to sleeping in the corner with all his siblings! He'll sleep in his log if I put him in there, but if not! It's to the corner!
