I've had my Sulcata for about 4-5 months now. I was told that it was almost 2 when he was given to me. He was about 3 1/2 inches long when I got him and he was mildly pyramided. He is about 5 inches now and only about 9 ounces and the pyramiding has not gotten worse however shouldn't a 2 year old Sulcata be larger? My aunt happens to have 2 of this little ones siblings from the same clutch and they are almost twice the size of my guy. The people who had Mr. Turtle before me only fed him a few times a week and only fed him romaine lettuce and spring mix so I'm sure that's why. Is he stunted? Should I be feeding him a lot more or should I not be worried? I feed him almost everyday and he has a varied diet.
Here's pictures of the top of his shell.
