The long awaited growth chart for 2016, awaiting one final entry, but here's a sneak preview.
Just a quick pix of a good Boxing Day luncheon set out for our Sully. Dandelion, romaine, mazuri, hibiscus flowers and leaves. Decided to trim our indoor hibiscus tree back some, and sully was the beneficiary of some nice leaves.
Status: Not too many changes, a few months to go and Sully will be back out side. One last weigh in for 2016!

Greetings all. Thought I would share a picture of our Sully inside his heated house and nestled down into his nice moist warm cypress mulch substrate. There are times when he shovels himself level with the mulch....all snuggled in for a long evening nap.
Status: The start of a new year, and some more milestones for our Sully. This May 2017, our little guy will turn three years old!

Dinner time for our Sully:
Status: The start of a new year, and Many more measurements to make. Bumped up the temps in our Sully's overnight heated house, which seems to have increased his overall activity and eating levels. Mazuri, dandelion greens, some romaine and kale round out the mai list of fresh greens. Some hay and regular grass too.

Greetings from Maryland where we find a warm front rushing up from Florida today followed by snow and ice storms scheduled to arrive Saturday.
Temps hit right at about 70 today in full sun which enabled us to get our Sully out for a few hours of sun, fresh weeds and good exercise.
Sully insisted on burrowing down into the leaves where spotted some green grass and weeds.

Ive decided to start applying some EVCO (cold pressed coconut oil) to our Sully's shell based on the postings here on the Forum. I'm hoping the weekly or so application will help keep his carapace stay hydrated and be good for his irregular back scute.

Status: This May our Sully turns three. Not too many changes, but we continue to apply coconut oil once or twice weekly. Sully continues to put on a good pound or so each week. At this rate, does this mean our Sully will gain about 50 pounds this year? Does it mean that by the end of 2017 he'll be 85 pounds or more?

Your sully is absolutely gorgeous!!!! And I love the coco oil too! Usually rub mine down with it at least every couple wks, but weekly to me would be ideal. Your sully's shell is PERFECT!!!
Thanks Pearly. We just recently started to apply a bit of oil twice a week, especially to the growth lines, and onto his split scute. That scute grows differently than the others, so giving that area a bit of extra TLC. It wouldn't be right not to throw a shout out to @Lancecham for providing us with a well started and healthy hatchling that has been no trouble since day one. And of couse, a shout out to @Tom for all of his sage advice, care sheets and his daily contributions.
