Three-week Old Sulcata Enjoying Sunshine & Lunch

Greetings all

Wanted to post a pix of our brand-new hatchling out enjoying some sunshine, humidity, and lunch. "Sultan" aka "Sully" arrived safe and sound yesterday morning after taking an overnight flight from California to Maryland. On arrival, we gave him a nice soak and let him explore his new home. Today, after another nice soak I took him outside to soak in some warm sunshine and to enjoy lunch. Sully enjoyed fresh grass a strawberry leaf or two, some fresh watercress type weed and grape leaves. Updates to follow. Thanks everyone, he's looking good @Len, we are just west of Annapolis. Here's a few new pix from today, unfortunately overcast and thunderstorms today, so no outdoor sun. Sully still enjoyed a nice soak and a few fresh weeds and grape leaves.

Sully arrived from LanceCham, CA last Tuesday, 10 June. One week later he's doing just great, eating, walking about, soaking and enjoying his 30 minute sunshine excursions.

I'm glad everyone is enjoying the updates on Sully aka Sultan! Here's a pix of his first official weigh-in now that I have a proper scale. Right at 63 grams. So far so good. Kudos to Lance for hatching out and providing a very healthy tort!

Greetings, here we are roughly a week later, and Sully weighed in at 76 grams. Gaining weight and growing nicely. Nice hot day in Maryland today, so he took a stroll out in the forest grassland.

Nice hot, humid day here in Maryland. Good chance for "Sully" to soak in some sunshine and enjoy the fresh, humid air.
