Suggestion for a lamp timer

Hi everyone,

Can someone suggest me a good timer for the lamps in my tortoise enclosure?

Currently I am looking at the Dragon All timer. Does anyone have experience with it?

Ive had years of good luck with good old-fashioned basic mechanical timers like this.

I have several of this style timer you linked, though in power strip form. They work great and I have no complaints. They have a lot of extra precision and functionality that a traditional mechanical timer does not. I tried the mechanical timers for a while, but they are too loud if you're trying to sit in the same room as your tortoise and try to read or work, in my opinion.

The wifi controlled ones that work with a phone app are pretty cool when they are working, although they can be bought o figure out at times. I have a few of those running right now, and I've helped a few friends set them up too. Its been problematic a couple of times.

For most of my applications, I use the digital timers from the hardware store or Walmart. Nice thing about the digital ones, in contrast to the old dial type, is that they are silent, and they hold their settings if the power goes out.
