Hi my name is Krista. I did some research before getting my torts. one thing I read was do not over feed. well.... what is over feeding? my Greek(Elvis) is happy to eat when I feed him, however my Russian(Sheldon) is always hungry and I give him lettuce when he is hungry... he is hungry he should eat is my theory however I am afraid I am over feeding him I'm so worried but he is hungry!

You won't overfeed your tortoise. Its practically impossible. I always make sure mine have access to some food. They'll eat when they're hungry and they'll stop when they aren't.
