My redfoot's shell has been dry recently. I have been wetting him and giving him water. Maybe I haven't been wetting him enough? Is there a way I can keep his shell moist and so it can go back to its black color because it is kind of getting grey. Please help!

Ok I will. I had one but I don't think it is accurate. But I can get his shell back to normal right?

Can you post pictures? I've never really seen a tortoises shell "dry out", and I can't tell you how many times I've seen people mistake "dryness" for minor shell-fungus. If you don't know what your looking at, it would be easy to think that.
