You think, even with those split scutes!? Both Mandarin and Mimosa are a bit bumpy but they're healthy and happy.

I'm really excited about Rafiki digging, though I'm a bit nervous that she hasn't dropped any eggs yet. She digs daily, hopefully soon! Not looking to incubate yet and I'm fairly certain 3/4 are females. Mandarin remains the mystery gender in the group.

Holy crow! Man those are scary nice looking!
Let's have a look at their plastrons...maybe we can determine the sex of Mandarin?

I'm treating any plastron rot you may see, wet mulch in the bags...

@Anyfoot the dandelions do not like my tortoises but my tortoises sure love them!

Those plastron patterns are amazing.

I just flipped a coin to decide what sex Mandarin is. The coin landed on its edge.

Half me says the anal scutes are widening out and getting thicker right in the bottom of the v and tail doesn't look bulbous, so male.

Other half of me is saying the tail is too small for a male.

I love how deep their color is! When I got my RF she had some pyramiding and I always get jealous when I see nice smooth shells! She was a rescue, they got her from a pet store like Pet Smart and kept her for about 8 years. No proper diet or temp/humidity. But she is a happy girl non the less!
