Hi everyone,
I've used this site for research prior to getting my baby leopard tort. Lots of great info, so thought I'd join you guys. We're based Nottingham, UK.
While the Testudo are more commonly kept in our climate, there are a few British Leopard Tort keepers here including @Lyn W
The biggest challenge is that they grow pretty large quite quickly and don't hibernate. So having sufficient outdoor space and spacious heated indoor accommodation like an insulated shed will be necessary.
Hi @JoesMum,
Thanks for the reply. Thankfully we have quite a large garden and large shed on the grassy area, I'll have to put my joinery skills to the test to make it a lovely home.
At the moment we have him on a tortoise table inside.
