New growth question

So I measure and weigh my two redfoots once a week just due to the face that I was having problems. Scooter my one little Guy I notice that he is gaining weight but no length but it's noticeable that he looks umm rounder like his top shell is growing. Is that normal?

Yes, normal...remember all torts while they have a general shape their species fit into --each tort is it own and can have variations in that species realm....

Ok I was just checking cause he is looking very round but not really gaining length and he is only 7 months old

Ohhhhhhh how can You tell that from what I said???? That would excite me to have a male and female from different parents around the same age I don't plan to breed but it would be cool to enjoy babies once
