Hello my name is Damian & I’m from South Texas and new to this forum. I bought a Sulcata about two days ago and I keep the little guy in a 3’x2’ cement mixing tub filled with Reptibark bedding in the meantime while a carpenter buddy of mine makes him a larger enclosure. The little dude’s about 1 month old and I keep the enclosure outside and temperatures right now are at about 95-105 degrees. I try to keep the enclosure as humid as possible by spraying it with water constantly and I soak the sulcata in a little tub for about 20-30 min in the morning. I feed him kale, lettuce and grass/weeds from my backyard. The little dude’s been spending most of the time in a cup that I’ve been using as his hide. Is there something wrong with him? I try to keep half of the enclosure in the sun and half of it in the shade for the most part. What adjustments should I make or what should I do to make the little guy more comfortable?
