Hey guys, I'm Chris from Alamogordo New Mexico and my wife and I recently bought a Sulcata hatchling named Luca about a week ago. He's in a glass aquarium for now, however, I'm going to build him a tortoise table this weekend out of an old book case. I'm really excited to be here. My wife and I are obsessed with this little guy. His shell is only about 2" right now. Wish he'd stay this little forever, lol. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

Chris

Hello and Welcome:). My words or wisdom is to forget the table and use the aquarium until he gets too big, unless the aquarium is already to small. The reason is in the threads below in my post. They are Toms and the proper way for raising a healthy, smooth sulcata.

Hi Chris...and welcome! First...lose the rabbit pellets. I made a care sheet for sulcatas...it's in my signature (along with some recipes that work). Now that I've touted my threads...this is the ONLY one you'll need!
