Mazuri diet question

Is there any evidence that Mazuri tortoise food helps accelerate growth in a young tortoise? I have someone on Facebook that swears to that and I was wondering if this is accurate information. All of my torts are being feed Mazuri with other types of weeds, grasses, and vegetables on a regular routine. Just curious if anyone has any expertise on Mazuri.

In most cases tortoises will grow faster if fed Mazuri everyday. When used once or twice a week, I have not seen any accelerated growth.

My redfoots have been getting it twice to three times a week. The baby sulcata, I've been feeding her Mazuri almost everyday with lots Of various grasses mixed into it. He's growing fast and smooth. I was just curious. Thanks Tom.
