The dome is an Exo Terra Glow small. The lamp is a MVB 80W from the brand Reptech.
The fixture can take 100W, but I want to know if my dome is deep and wide enough for the right heat output (and to prevent fire hazard)? My last dome was so small that my MVB barely fitted in. So out of safety measures I returned the dome and got this one.
So is this one okay, or must go a size bigger?
Oh, and one thing: the package of my MVB says 'provide proper ventilation and do not cover the lamp'. Does this indicate that I can't use a dome for my MVB? Or is this a common warning for all MVB?
