Is this a good choice?!

The regular red light bulbs I was using were burning out pretty quick, so I got one of the ceramic heat bulbs. I have seen the news before on tortoises in different situations but I was just going to get your opinion on them. I have attached a picture of the one that I purchased.

Yes, those are recommended. They last a long time too. To use them safe, get a ceramic socket fixture with a large metal dome.

Thank you! I do need a bigger dome. I do believe the sockets are ceramic in the ones she has now. What size dome would you recommend? I will order them of Amazon.

Good price too! Maybe get one for the UVB too.
I use the same ones Tom posted and I also don't use the clamp or wire cage guard. Cheaper then the ones sold for reptiles. Also, some Walmarts have them even cheaper then Home Depot
