Hiding spots

Hi it's me again!! I was watching Hermes burrow into one of his pots and was thinking what else makes a good hiding spot for a baby to yearling hermans tortoise.

I use small rubbermaid containers, right side up, with an arched doorway cut in one end. I paint the entire container on the outside with black paint to make it dark inside. The top just sits on loosely so that I can easily remove it to check on tortoises, add moisture, change moss, etc... without disturbing the placement of the hide box.

I don't have any photos of them but if you're interested can take some.

That sounds good I also have a half log hide that I can use when he gets older.
