Hello from me and Natasha!

I just recently, and impulsively, rescued a tortoise from a kid that wasn't taking care of her. Well, I find myself unprepared to care for her.

I think she is a greek tortoise, but I'm not sure. I have attached some pictures in hope of learning for sure.

Any help or advice on how to care for this awesome creature would be amazing.

:)

Also, I can't seem to be able to view my private messages...

Your tortoise is a Testudo horsfieldii (Russian) tortoise.

Wait...he? I thought I had a girl, lol.

And I have a full tank set up, she...he was just hanging out on my computer desk having some kale when I took the picture. I currently have a tank set up that the kid gave me, and I bought a 150 watt basking lamp and a night time bulb to go along with it.

Thanks for letting me know exactly what I have!

I suppose I should post in the specific forums about the health questions I have?
