Hello I am fairly new to this forum. Recently I became a red footed tortoise friend, which here we call this species "jabuti", both the red, yellow and hybrid. Mine is a red one .She ended up getting sick.Did what I could but it didn't work and I thought driving it to the vet would stress it even more so I prayed God showed me how to heal it and He did. She is healthier it's been a few days now.Slowly I learned what I was doing wrong and little tricks and racks that can save a tortoise's life. I figured if He created the tortoise no one better than Him to teach me how to care for it. I also learned from the internet valuable things but it was not being enough and I was loosing my tortoise friend. This proves God can hear a prayer even for a pet. I hope she lives well and fully until her old age limit appointed by God(which is 80 in redfoot tortoises I think). I am glad I can give this testimony of survival.
