Hey forumers! Me and my family are gonna be going on a 5 day vacation, and we are curious on how to keep our Redfooted Tortoise alive in the cage for when we are gone. We have a timer for the lighting so that isn't a problem, same with humidity. The question i am asking is how would i keep her hydrated and not hungry over 5 days?

I always paid a friend to come daily, feed and water.
You can also set up a automatic dog waterer, one your tort can't get into but can drink from. The kind that refills from a bottle. Just attach it so it can't be tipped over. Then place several big piles of food in different areas, picking some that won't spoil fast and don't place in any hot areas.
A couple days without food won't hurt, but you do want water available.
