Help (won't eat, just stays burrowed)

Only stuck and won't eat or move just burrows in his habba hut and won't eat unless I leave the spring mix in front of the hut

Did you just get this tortoise? Only eating right in front of its hide area and remaining hidden in a burrow type situation indicates it doesn't feel safe in the enclosure. Try giving it more hiding areas. Maybe a couple half logs and some plastic plants would be helpful. Or just cut doorways into a couple of appropriate sized cardboard boxes and place them in there for it to use as shelters to see if that improves the activity level.

All the above assumes you have the correct lighting, temperatures, etc. in place.

What size enclosure? An adult Russian needs at least a 4x6 minimum. I'm thinking your enclosure is way too small. Also what about the temps, all over, night and basking and humidity?
