I've been remiss in posting, as other aspects of my life have been in shambles. Trogdor is doing ok, though. He started FREAKING out (thrashing, trying to climb out, and generally acting like I was trying to kill him) about bathing, so I stopped for a while, but now he's looking a bit pyramided, so I think I'm just going to have to let him freak. His humidity is between 70 and 80 most of the time, so it's either that his growth rate is too fast (which I've been working on by feeding more veggies and less of the things he likes--protein and mazuri) and smaller portions. It's been a few months since I forced him to bathe, but this morning he sat quietly in his tub, so maybe he's over whatever phase that was. I haven't weighed him since early April (around his 1st birthday), but he was 507g then. I'll try to weigh and measure him tonight or tomorrow.
He's very social now, and will follow me around when I take him outside (though it's been unseasonably cold here, so he's only had a few excursions this season so far) or remove him from his enclosure for cleaning. He's even begun to really enjoy being "pet," and stretches out his neck for scratches. He's quite a cool little dude!
